According to bank representatives, under the terms of the tariffs, deductions may be made for attempts to withdraw money that exceeds the balance on the account. The bank may charge a fee for 'Fee for processing an authorization request for an amount exceeding the available balance.'

If a client requests more than they have, the transaction will be canceled, but a fee will be charged. The first attempt of the day is not charged, but subsequent attempts require payment of 3 UAH.

'A fee is charged starting from the second attempt to carry out a transaction for an amount exceeding the available balance on the account,' the statement said.

How not to overpay for unsuccessful requests

The bank has provided tips on how to avoid fees for erroneous transactions. Clients are advised:
