Ukraine and the USA have signed two new commercial agreements on investment funds.

Ukraine has signed additional agreements with the U.S. International Finance Corporation
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine announced the signing of two commercial agreements with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation. These agreements concern the establishment of a Ukrainian-American investment fund for the reconstruction of the country. On behalf of Ukraine, the documents were signed by Niko Hachechiladze, the director of the Agency for Public-Private Partnership Support at the Ministry of Economy.
According to the agreements, a limited partnership and a limited liability company will be formed, which will act as the general partner of the fund. The details of the agreements remain confidential. It should be noted that the Verkhovna Rada ratified the basic 'subsoil' agreement with the USA and approved the establishment of the investment fund. President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the corresponding law on May 12. Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko noted that the fund will start operating soon after the ratification process is completed.
