The White House confirmed changes to the use of ATACMS for strikes on Russia.

The USA granted Ukraine permission to use long-range missiles on Russian territory
According to official confirmation from the United States of America, Ukraine has been granted permission to use long-range ATACMS missiles on the territory of the Russian Federation. The change in American guidelines regarding the use of these missiles was announced by John Kirby, the coordinator for strategic communications at the White House's National Security Council.
According to the new guidelines, Ukrainian forces are allowed to use ATACMS missiles to target certain types of targets on Russian territory. However, the use of these missiles is permitted only in situations of self-defense and urgent necessity. It is important to note that the Ukrainian side retains the right to set targets for the missiles and assess their effectiveness.
Earlier, there was information about the initial use of American missiles on Russian territory. In response to this, Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened to strike Western countries that support Ukraine using American weapons against Russia.
