Blinken: Zelensky and Biden will meet on September 13.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Joe Biden will meet on Friday, September 13, announced U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a press conference in Kyiv. Andriy Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, also commented on this news in his Telegram channel, stating: "There will be more weapons, more air defense systems."
In an interview with Sky News, Antony Blinken said that Joe Biden does not rule out giving Ukraine permission to strike Russian territory with long-range weapons. According to him, the USA has provided Ukraine with everything necessary to effectively counter Russian aggression since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.
It was also reported that on September 13, Joe Biden will meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss the possibility of granting the Ukrainian Defense Forces permission to strike deep into Russia.
A group of U.S. congressmen has called on Joe Biden to lift restrictions on Ukraine's use of long-range weapons for strikes on military targets in Russia. Lawmakers emphasize that such restrictions contradict U.S. approaches to its own operations and those of other partners.
The letter was signed by members of the House of Representatives Marcy Kaptur, Bryan Fitzpatrick, Mike Quigley, Joe Wilson, as well as Senators Richard Durbin and Roger Wicker. They urge Biden to "immediately lift the restrictions on Ukraine's use of long-range weapons provided by the USA and other NATO allies for strikes on legitimate military targets on Russian territory."
