Ukraine Honors the Memory of Defenders
Every day at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Volodymyr Senenko.
On May 16, 2025, while defending Ukraine from Russian occupants, a defender from Lviv, Volodymyr Senenko, fell on the front lines. This was reported by
Glavkomciting the Lviv City Council.
Volodymyr Senenko was born on July 28, 1988, in Lviv. He studied at Lviv City Council Lyceum No. 28. Later, he obtained higher education at the Ukrainian Academy of Printing.
Throughout his life, Volodymyr worked as a manager in various companies. He was passionate about music. He was a member of the boys’ bandura ensemble 'Hamaliya' of the Center for Creativity of Children and Youth of Galicia.
For personal bravery, the warrior was awarded numerous honors, including the honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 'Golden Cross' and the 'Cross of Territorial Defense' medal.
Volodymyr Senenko is survived by his wife, daughter, parents, and brother.
