Users of the Telegram messenger received messages offering to activate a premium subscription through a link. However, the Center for Countering Disinformation warns that this is a scam scheme.
According to the CCD, these messages are an attempt by scammers to steal users' personal data.
The CCD recommends that users do not click on links from unknown sources, block the message sender, and enable two-factor authentication to protect their accounts.
Moreover, there have been cases of fraud in the Ternopil region and in Kyiv where scammers have stolen large sums of money from people.
