Housing prices: which apartments in Ukraine are rising the fastest.


In the third quarter of 2024, housing prices in Ukraine increased by 11.7% compared to the same period last year, according to the State Statistics Service.
Statistics from the State Statistics Service also show that apartments in the primary market saw the highest price increases. Prices for such apartments rose by 14.1%, while in the secondary market this figure was 10.5%.
Prices for one-bedroom apartments in the primary market increased by 13.9%, while in the secondary market the increase was 10.0%. Two-bedroom apartments in the primary market rose by 14.8%, while in the secondary market the increase was 11.1%. Prices for three-bedroom apartments in the primary market increased by 13.6%, and in the secondary market, it was 10.3%.
The average rent for a one-bedroom apartment was 7149 hryvnias in October 2024. Rental prices rose by 0.7% over the last month and by 8.2% since the beginning of the year.
In terms of rental costs, the leader remains the Transcarpathian region, although rents have fallen by 7.1% since the beginning of the year to 11,823 hryvnias.
