European standards for Ukrainian carriers: a new law has been adopted.

Ukraine has supported a draft law to adapt the EU service market
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted draft law No. 4560, which allows the Ukrainian market for automotive transport services to adapt to European standards. This draft law is key for integrating Ukrainian carriers into the European transport space. The main goal of the draft law is to enhance the competitiveness of Ukrainian carriers in the EU market and improve the quality of transport services. Thanks to this law, there will be a digitalization of services for carriers.
Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, expressed his gratitude to the members of parliament for supporting the draft law, which will ensure the country's euro-integration.
The draft law will allow the implementation of the EU Regulation No. 1071/2009 into national legislation. In particular, it establishes specific licensing requirements for carriers, such as company reputation, financial status, and professional competence of managers. These requirements will also apply to international carriers and carriers of dangerous goods.
The draft law also provides that all data about carriers will be stored in the Unified Complex of Information Systems for Road Transport Safety (UCIS).
An important condition for the implementation of the law is a one-year transition period after which the law's provisions will come into effect.
