Firefighters extinguish fire in hotel building in Alanya
In the province of Alanya, Turkey, rescuers have begun to extinguish a powerful fire in a nine-story hotel building. According to A Haber television channel, the hotel is currently uninhabited, but construction workers are present there.
'The fire broke out in one of the high-rise buildings in Alanya, causing panic among the workers. Fire brigades rushed to the building where workers were conducting repairs,' sources reported.
Later, it became known that all the people who were trapped in the building during the fire were rescued in Time. There is no information about the injured so far. Preliminary data suggests that the fire broke out due to improper use of a welding machine.
Let us remind you that on January 21, a large-scale fire occurred at a resort in Bolu. A wooden hotel was on fire, which housed nearly 240 guests. As a result of the fire, it was decided to demolish the Grand Kartal hotel. January 22 was declared a day of mourning in Turkey.
