Invictus Games: interim results of the second day of the competition.


On the second day of the Invictus Games, two disciplines took place: wheelchair basketball and curling.
The Ukrainian team lost the basketball match against the Invincibles 3 with a score of 4:10. Our team's only point was scored by Valeriy Oidanyk, who opened the scoring in the match. Two more points were scored by Arsen Ryaboshapko. But by that Time, the distribution of points was already decided: the opponents scored 10 points.
Matchups in the group stage will determine who will get to the semifinals. Currently, the British team is playing against Colombia. At 23:00 Kyiv time, the match between the British and the Invincibles 3 will take place.
Three Invincibles teams are formed on the day of the games to allow all nations to participate, even if they lack their own players. Thus, the team Invincibles 3 included two Ukrainians - Ilya Pylypenko and Artur Milyin. Therefore, at the award ceremony, which will take place tomorrow according to Kyiv time, there is a chance to see medalists.
The curling match also did not bring victory: Ukraine lost to Germany with a score of 0:3 and occupies the last place in the tournament table:
Invictus Games
Invictus Games - international sporting competitions in adaptive sports among veterans and servicemen who have been injured, harmed, or ill while fulfilling their military duty. The competition this year is taking place in Canada and will last until February 16. Athletes from 21 countries have gathered in Vancouver.
As a reminder, on the first day of the Invictus Games, the Ukrainian team won the basketball match in wheelchairs against the Colombian team with a score of 12:6.
