Import of Used Cars up to 5 Years Old Has Significantly Increased.


In the first 9 months of this year, Ukrainians purchased 50,1 thousand used passenger cars imported from abroad that are up to 5 years old, which is 60% more than last year, reports UkrAutoProm.
From January to September 2024, Ukrainians registered 176 thousand used passenger cars. Of this number, more than 28% are cars up to 5 years old.
Among imported cars in this segment, the most popular are electric vehicles, accounting for 40%. Petrol cars are also present (39%), diesel (10%), hybrid (7%), and LPG cars (4%).
Among popular used cars up to 5 years old, the following models can be highlighted: Tesla Model Y - 3231 units, Tesla Model 3 - 2885 units, Hyundai Kona - 1635 units, Nissan Rogue - 1622 units, Mazda CX-5 - 1598 units, Volkswagen Tiguan - 1429 units, Volkswagen Golf - 1144 units, Nissan Leaf - 1078 units, Kia Niro - 998 units, Audi Q5 - 966 units.
