This is related to the celebration of Airborne Forces Day in the Russian Federation, as they are obsessed with symbolism. This was reported by the head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

He urged residents of the region to spend the day at home and avoid moving around the streets unless absolutely necessary, and not to visit crowded places.
"In case of shelling, proceed to the nearest shelter or street cover. Take care of yourselves," added Prokudin.
It should be reminded that in several regions of Ukraine and in the city of Kyiv, an air raid alert was declared at 21:06 on August 1. The east, south, and north of the country, as well as the city of Kyiv, turned red. Monitoring Telegram channels reported a ballistic threat. Later, two explosions were heard in Kropyvnytskyi. The first explosion occurred in Kropyvnytskyi after 21:00, and the second a few minutes later.
