Israel prepares for retaliation against Iran's attack: possible date.

The Israeli military plans to provide a "significant and serious" response to the Iranian rocket attack that occurred last week. An anonymous military representative reported that the operation could begin on October 7 - the anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel.
This is reported by The Guardian.
"IDF (Israel Defense Forces) is preparing a response to the unprecedented and illegal Iranian attack on Israeli civilians and Israel," said an official who is not authorized to publicly comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron has called to stop supplying weapons to Israel for use in Gaza. "I believe that today the priority is to return to a political solution, to stop supplying weapons for fighting in Gaza," Macron said in an interview with France Inter.
In Lebanon, the situation is escalating: three hospitals in the south of the country were forced to close due to Israeli bombings. Two hospitals were hit, and the third was left without supplies.
In London, hundreds of pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in the city center to mark the anniversary of the October 7 attacks in Israel and to call for a permanent ceasefire.
