A touching meeting between Kate Middleton and 16-year-old Liz Hatton, who is battling a rare form of cancer, took place at Windsor Castle. The Princess of Wales, who herself recently completed a course of cancer treatment, invited the young photographer to the award ceremony and allowed her to take pictures of the event. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
During the warm meeting, Kate hugged Liz and talked with her and her family. Prince William also supported the girl and her loved ones. This gesture from the royal couple became a symbol of hope and mutual support in the fight against a severe illness.
