Kyiv authorities to reconsider traffic regime on the Southern Bridge.

The Kyiv authorities plan to restore free traffic across the Southern Bridge for all city residents. This was reported by Timur Tkachenko after consultations with the military regarding the need to maintain restrictions on this important transport facility.
'Restrictions during war, like any other processes, must be timely, justified, and reasonably organized. If something from this list is missing, abuses and injustice arise,' emphasized Tkachenko.
According to him, after discussing the situation with the military, it became clear that the need for a complete closure of the Southern Bridge, which existed earlier, is currently absent. Although there may remain some additional movement restrictions, overall there is a possibility to ease the current prohibitions.
The issue of resuming traffic across the Southern Bridge will be discussed at the next meeting of the Kyiv Defense Council.
It is worth noting that currently, restrictions apply not only during the curfew but also throughout the day on facilities that are strategically important for the city's functioning.
Earlier, Kyiv responded to questions regarding the transport stop during the moment of silence.
