N Korea expands its missile production facility for Russia – Reuters.

North Korea is expanding its weapons manufacturing complex, where they are assembling short-range missiles. These missiles are being transferred to Moscow. This is reported by Reuters.
This complex, known as Factory February 11, is located in the city of Hamhyn in North Korea. It is part of the 'Renson' machinery complex.
'This factory is the only one manufacturing solid-fuel ballistic missiles of the 'Hwasong-11' class,' said Sam Ler, a researcher at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies.
Satellite imagery analysis has shown that a new assembly building and a residential complex for workers are under construction at the complex. There are also improvements being made to the entrances of the complex's underground facilities.
'We assume that they are trying to significantly increase the productivity of this factory,' said Ler.
The new assembly building is 60-70% smaller than the previous one.
In 2023, photographs were published showing Kim Jong Un visiting this complex. Analysts believe that various components for missiles are being assembled here.
Foreign components have been detected in North Korean KN-23/KN-24 missiles, with Russia having received over 100 such missiles from North Korea, which were used during military operations against Ukraine in 2023.
Since March 2024, Russia has supplied North Korea with more than a million barrels of oil, presumably as payment for military support.
