Commander of 'Azov' disappointed by prisoner exchange
Commander of 'Azov', Colonel Denis Redis Prokopenko was outraged by the prisoner exchange. He stressed that no serviceman from the 12th brigade 'Azov' was returned home during the exchange of 1000 for 1000.
“Not a single Azov member. Among the one thousand Ukrainian prisoners of war exchanged today, there is not a single Azov member. Instead, a scumbag returned who asked the guards for a knife to cut our fighters”.
Redis called on the government to find other ways to free Azov fighters and emphasized that this is a disgrace for the state. He also expressed readiness to cooperate with other Western allies to achieve this goal.
Successful completion of the prisoner exchange
Ukraine successfully completed the third stage of the prisoner exchange under the formula '1000 for 1000', as a result of which 303 Ukrainian defenders returned home, including 70 defenders of Mariupol. President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of this achievement for the country.
Therefore, it is necessary to find more effective ways for prisoner exchanges, as every Ukrainian soldier has the right to return home as soon as possible.
