Competitor of solar panels. Scientists showcased a technology that also uses solar energy.

Scientists presented a new solar concentrator with an area of 500 sq. meters, which has the potential to change the future of energy. This technology promises environmentally friendly electricity generation, writes Seeds.
The largest solar concentrator ever created is located in Gujarat, India. It is a revolutionary breakthrough in the field. It is expected to provide enough steam to produce a large amount of electricity.
This concentrator operates on the principle of focusing sunlight on a small area, allowing for the most efficient use of solar energy. It can provide up to 1 MW of electricity per hour, equivalent to the power provided by traditional solar panels.
This device is built from modern materials that ensure its high durability and longevity. It also has overheat protection, which allows it to operate in various climatic conditions. The main advantage of the new concentrator is its eco-friendliness. Generating electricity with it does not produce carbon dioxide emissions.
Another breakthrough in the field of solar panels was previously reported. Canon has developed a protective coating for solar batteries which competes with solar panels with silicon photovoltaic cells.
Solar energy, which is considered environmentally safe, is becoming a problem for Australia. The issue is that the disposal of solar panels in landfills is expensive. Therefore, only one Australian state has banned this type of waste.
