Marganets, which fires at the Russian Federation with artillery, ordered glass stops for transport for 8 million.

The utility signed a contract for the purchase of public transport stops
The utility enterprise 'Komunalnik' of the Marganets City Council, Dnipropetrovsk region, signed a contract for an amount of 7.70 million UAH with entrepreneur Yevhenii Chorna. According to information from the 'Prozorro' system, the purchase of public transport stops was made without bidding.
The Marganets city territorial community has been recognized as a zone of active hostilities since December 2024. The city is continuously shelled with artillery fire, even attacking public transport. In April, a drone attack on a bus carrying workers was recorded.
«However, the Marganets city hall ordered not shelters for public transport stops, but 21 fiberglass-metal structures costing 370 thousand hryvnias each. Their manufacturer is unknown»
The stops are made with a metal frame, a roof of polycarbonate monolithic sheet, and walls of triplex glass. Despite the fact that the glass has a multilayer structure and protects against injuries, it does not provide sufficient safety from the impact of shrapnel.
The local publication 'Prykhyst' reports that there is a lack of shelters in Marganets, and people are forced to hide in dangerous conditions. It is noted that this money could have been spent on other needs.
Recently, Russian invaders carried out a drone attack on the city of Marganets, resulting in injuries and casualties. This is not the first case of shelling in the city; Russian troops had previously attacked this area, resulting in three injuries. The situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region remains tense.
