Major Floods in Europe: 'Ukrzaliznytsia' Announced the Cancellation of Several Routes.

Due to the severe floods that devastated European countries, various train routes were canceled, reported the press service of 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
In particular, the Vienna-Kyiv-Vienna route will now operate as Budapest-Kyiv-Budapest at least on Monday.
It is expected that the resumption of traffic will be slow, as the peak of the bad weather is expected in Austria today and tomorrow. As a result, stations and metro will be partially closed.
«Passengers with tickets in Vienna are advised to contact the information-service point for free accommodation and meals during the bad weather», - the company reported.
Also, the Chop-Vienna-Chop route was canceled due to the inability to leave Vienna.
«The Prague-Przemyśl-Prague routes cannot yet pass the flooded section on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland. Today, boat traffic will be organized from Prague to the Polish border and from Przemyśl to the Czech border with bus transfer around the flooded section», - the company representatives reported.
However, routes to/from Warsaw, Chełm, Przemyśl, Košice, Budapest, and Zahony are running without changes.
«We are accepting passengers who were unable to board their flights due to the bad weather on OTHER routes from Poland according to the existing tickets for any free seats!» - the company emphasized.
As previously reported, in the past few days, at least eight people have died as a result of the floods, and thousands of people had to evacuate from floods in Europe, particularly in the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, and Romania.
In Eastern Germany, the water level continues to rise; however, the situation in the country is generally stable. Nevertheless, the situation in Austria, Poland, and the Czech Republic, which were most affected by the flood, remains tense. Heavy rains flooded large areas, at least eight people drowned by Sunday evening, and four more people in the Czech Republic are missing.
It should be noted that due to the flood in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Poland, the Vienna-Budapest-Kyiv and Prague-Przemyśl-Prague routes were canceled.
