Ukrainian pilot destroyed Russian S-400 air defense system on a damaged aircraft: incredible story.

Ukrainian Air Force shared the story of Jeff, a pilot who managed to destroy the Russian S-400 air defense system despite the damage to his aircraft. With his 150th combat sortie, Jeff successfully completed the mission to eliminate the S-400, using about fifty missiles and bombs. He also shot down drones and covered Ukrainian ground attack aircraft.
On November 23, armed with Harm missiles on his MiG-29, Jeff set out on a mission to destroy the S-400. He knew that if the enemy air defense system was not destroyed, Ukrainian military operations would be compromised. Despite aircraft malfunctions, Jeff armed and launched the missiles, ensuring the safety of his comrades. As a result, his aircraft was shot down, but the pilot managed to eject and survive.
"I've been hit! Call SAR! Broadcasting my coordinates!", Jeff informed his comrade.
After landing, Jeff had to run several kilometers to meet the rescue point. His rescue was successful, and he returned to duty after 3 months. Jeff shares that he and his comrades have long been awaiting more advanced aircraft and more affordable weapons.
For his military merit, Jeff was awarded the "Cross of Military Merit" and the Order of "For Courage" III degree.
Recall that yesterday, 101-year-old Pavlo Kononov from Kropyvnytskyi, a veteran of World War II and a combat pilot, celebrated his birthday.
