In the Vinnytsia region, law enforcement detained two men aged 21 and 28 on suspicion of unlawful deprivation of liberty and torture of a local resident aged 32. The incident occurred on June 11, 2025, when a close relative of the victim alerted the police about his brother's kidnapping.
"According to preliminary information from the investigation, the conflict arose in one of the villages of the Tulchyn district during alcohol consumption. The argument between the defendants and the victim escalated into brutal beating: two men struck the victim's body and face with their hands and feet."
After that, the attackers forcibly placed the man into a car and took him to the forest, where they continued the torture. The perpetrators then left the victim in the forest and fled the crime scene. A few hours later, after a police report, law enforcement detained the offenders in accordance with the procedure.

Seizure of evidence and pre-trial investigation

During the search, law enforcement confiscated the car, which had brown stains, as well as other materials that confirm the events of the crime. Currently, the investigation is being conducted under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: unlawful deprivation of liberty or kidnapping and torture, for which punishment of up to six years of imprisonment is provided.This news describes the detention of two men in the Vinnytsia region on suspicion of torturing a local resident. The crime occurred as a result of a conflict that escalated into physical violence.
