The gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine has explained the control of gas quality in Ukraine.
The press service of Naftogaz of Ukraine reports that the quality of gas is of great importance for the efficiency of equipment, the safety of people, the state of the environment, and the health of the population. Therefore, many Ukrainians are interested in the issue of gas quality in Ukraine.
'Naftogaz' states that every cubic meter of gas undergoes multi-level control before reaching the consumer. This control includes:
- Laboratory control. The quality of gas is checked in certified laboratories across Ukraine by analyzing key parameters such as heating value, impurity content, and odor level.
- At the entry point of the gas transportation system. Gas is evaluated according to technical standards before being introduced into the network.
- Monitoring in gas distribution networks. Gas distribution network operators constantly monitor the composition and quality characteristics of gas to ensure energy efficiency.
The company emphasizes that gas is supplied in accordance with standards that guarantee safety and efficiency of its use.
