NOC of Ukraine named the best athletes and coaches of March.

On April 1, a meeting of the Expert Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine took place, where the laureates of the traditional contest for the best athletes and coaches of the month were determined.

During the meeting, the Commission considered the achievements of Ukrainian athletes at leading international competitions in March and recognized:

• The best athlete of March 2025 is Serhii Kulish - the European champion in shooting (10 m air rifle), which took place in Osijek (Croatia).

• The best young athlete of March 2025 is Yegor Yakushenko, who won the gold medal at the Under-23 European Wrestling Championship in the weight category up to 97 kg (Tirana, Albania).

• The best coach of March 2025 is Viktor Nahniy, personal coach of Serhii Kulish.

• The best young athlete's coach of March 2025 is Mykola Yelarinov, personal coach of Yegor Yakushenko.

Another significant event was the recognition of the best team of March 2025, which is the national freestyle team of Ukraine consisting of Dmytro Kotovskyi, Oleksandr Okipniuk, and Angelina Brykina.

The Ukrainians won the silver medal in the team events at the World Championship in Engadine, Switzerland.

The Federation of Shooting of Ukraine and the Central Sports Club of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive awards for preparing the best athlete of March.

The laureates of the sports month will be awarded monetary prizes, exclusive statuettes, and commemorative plaques. The best team of the month will receive a special award from the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

Recall that the bonuses for the players of Madrid's 'Real' were announced if they achieve victories in six tournaments of the season.

The Madrid club, which includes Ukrainian national team goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, will pay players 80 million euros in bonuses before taxes if they win all six tournaments.

In the current season, 'Real' has already become the holder of the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup, and is also continuing to fight in the Champions League, the championship, and the Copa del Rey. Furthermore, in June, the Madrid club will participate in the club World Championship.

Last season, the total amount of bonuses for 'Real' players was 40 million euros before taxes, including 900 thousand for each player for winning the Champions League.
