Paralympic Triumph: Ukrainians Win 5 More Medals in Paris.


Ukrainian athletes at the Paralympic Games in Paris continue to amaze the world with their unyielding achievements. Recently, they have won 5 more medals, which is a testament to their incredible strength of spirit and will to win, reports the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Oleksandr Nazarenko, a Ukrainian judoka, became the champion in the weight category up to 90 kg, winning the gold medal. Andrii Trusov also added another gold medal to his collection, setting a European record in the 50 meters butterfly. Anastasia Harnyk became the champion in the weight category over 70 kg, earning gold. Marina Lytovchenko won a silver medal in table tennis. Additionally, Denys Ostapchenko and Serhii Palamarchuk won bronze medals in the 200 meters freestyle, and Ihor Nimchenko received bronze in the 200 meters individual medley.
These victories are of great significance for Ukraine. The gold medals of Nazarenko and Harnyk became the 19th and 20th golds for the country at these Paralympic Games. Trusov has an impressive collection of five medals in Paris, and for Lytovchenko, this is her third career medal at the Paralympics.
It is also worth noting that Ukrainian athletes continue to delight with their achievements. Earlier, Ihor Tsvetov won a gold medal in the 200 meters T35 class race. Yehor Dementyev also won gold in the road race among athletes of classes C4-5. This proves that Ukrainian Paralympians are extraordinarily talented and strong athletes.
