The first volunteers from the Ukrainian Legion signed contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian volunteers from the Ukrainian Legion have signed contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrinform.
The signing of contracts took place at the recruitment center, which operates at the Ukrainian consulate in the Polish city of Lublin.
Each of the volunteers signed the contract in turn, which they had previously familiarized themselves with.
A representative of the recruitment center, Petro Gorkusha, announced that more than 600 people have already applied to join the Ukrainian Legion.
It was previously reported that the response to the Ukrainian Legion program from Ukrainians in Poland was extremely low. The formation of the legion is provided for by a bilateral agreement between Ukraine and Poland. Poland undertook to train and provide for the legion, while Ukraine was to recruit volunteers.
It is also known that Poland is preparing to train the first hundreds of Ukrainian volunteers who wish to join the Ukrainian Legion.
The recruitment center is available to Ukrainians from 30 countries to participate in the Ukrainian Legion.
