The Pension Fund explained the rules for granting disability pensions to military personnel.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine explained the procedure for receiving pensions for military personnel who have completed their service and do not have all the necessary documents from the military unit.
The law allows for the pension to be granted even if some documents are missing.
Applications for disability pensions can be submitted to the Pension Fund through authorized structural divisions of ministries and other authorities. If not all documents are ready, one can first submit the available ones and present the missing ones additionally.
'If the submitted documents are sufficient to determine the person's right to a pension, the pension is granted based on these documents', - reports the Pension Fund.
If all necessary documents are missing, the Pension Fund informs the relevant official about the need to finalize them within three months from the date of application submission.
It is important to note that if the documents affecting the pension amount and granting the right to increase it are provided later, the difference can be paid for the previous period, but not more than for 12 months.
Therefore, former military personnel who do not have a certificate of financial provision from the military unit will have their disability pension granted based on the available documents, and after receiving additional documents, recalculation will be carried out.
