The President dismissed the heads of the Sumy and Luhansk regional state administrations.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed decrees that provide for the dismissal of the heads of two regional state administrations. Oleg Grygorov was appointed the new head of the Sumy Oblast State Administration, replacing Volodymyrartyukh. Oleg Lysyhor was also dismissed from the position of head of the Luhansk Oblast State Administration, and Oleksiy Kharchenko was appointed to take his place. Roman Mrochko was dismissed from the position of head of the Kherson City Military Administration of the Kherson District in the Kherson Oblast.
Volodymyr Artyukh worked as the head of the Sumy Oblast State Administration for two years. His dismissal resulted from a missile strike by Russia that devastated the city of Sumy. Artem Lysyhor had headed the Luhansk regional military administration since March 2023.
Roman Mrochko came under fire while shooting a New Year's video and a video address to local residents. After that, the mayor of Konotop, Artem Semenyhin, demanded that the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, resign due to his involvement in the shelling of Sumy. Volodymyr Artyukh claimed that the measures related to the awarding of the 117th brigade were planned, but he was not the initiator of such actions.
The government previously approved the dismissal of Artem Lysyhor from the position of head of the Luhansk Oblast State Administration.
