The Verkhovna Rada extended the possibility of voluntary return for military personnel from the Strategic Armed Forces until August 30, 2025. Now after the cessation or cancellation of martial law, the service for military personnel who deserted does not stop. However, the term of their absence is not counted towards the mandatory service period, and they do not receive any payments, benefits, or support. Returning military personnel can continue their service at the commander's decision, even if they are pursued for criminal offenses.

President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on the payment of 15 million UAH to the relatives of fallen volunteers who sacrificed their lives defending Ukraine. The law provides for an increase in payments to 15 million UAH to the relatives of the deceased and formalizes this law considering that payments are at the same level as in the Armed Forces during martial law.
The panel of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine voted for the conviction of four former officials of the 'Lisky' Transport Service Center branch of JSC 'Ukrzaliznytsia'. They are accused of abusing their official position and misappropriating funds of JSC 'Ukrzaliznytsia' in the amount of 98.2 million UAH. Essentially, the funds were used to conclude agreements without goods with LLC 'Skela Tercium' for the procurement of fuel oil for fleet and diesel power plants.
