Reskilling Ukraine Program: 700 women and 100 veterans will be able to acquire a new profession for free.


The Reskilling Ukraine project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, has started registration for free retraining courses for women and veterans.
According to the Ministry of Economy, this year 700 women and 100 veterans will have the opportunity to learn to become a truck or passenger transport driver, a female mechanic, or a solar power plant installer.
Training programs for women
The OnTrack project offers women to choose one of the following professions:
truck driver (category C); truck driver (category CE); passenger bus driver (category D); female mechanic; solar power plant installer; excavator and loader operator.
The project invites women from all over Ukraine for training, regardless of their place of residence. Training will take place in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, or Kremenchuk.
The application deadline is May 1, 2025.
Training programs for veterans
The UNIT 6.0 program offers veterans who have been discharged from service for at least 6 months to train in the following specialties:
solar power plant installer; veteran career consultant.
The application deadline is April 4, 2025.
The duration of training under the programs for women and veterans is from 3 to 6 weeks. Participation in the project is free. Accommodation and meals during training are covered by Reskilling Ukraine.
The Reskilling Ukraine project is implemented by the Beredkspalsyftet organization with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine to support the professional development of women and veterans in Ukraine.
