'This is yet another step towards escalation, and no one knows the consequences. North Korea is supplying ballistic missiles, artillery, and tens of thousands of soldiers. The administration, in response, is lifting restrictions. North Korea is sending more soldiers, and South Korea is talking about the possibility of entering the war,' the Congressman noted.
According to him, the situation is complicated by Iran's oil sales to China, the funds from which are used to supply missiles and drones to Russia that are attacking Ukraine's critical infrastructure.
Waltz emphasized that Trump’s team is focused on finding a strategic solution to end the conflict through negotiations.
Earlier, media reported about President Biden's permission to use ATACMS on the territory of the Russian Federation, particularly in the Kursk region, in response to the involvement of North Korean troops. The White House refrained from directly confirming this information.
