The Russian Federation attacked Poltava with 'Shaheds', a fire broke out in the city (updated).

On the night of April 23, the invaders carried out an attack on Poltava using drones, which led to fires. This was reported by the head of the Poltava OVA Volodymyr Kogut and local Telegram channels.

According to Kogut, the group of attackers hit enterprises and open areas near public facilities in the Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Poltava.

Currently, there is no information about casualties. Details are being clarified. During the air raid alert, it is advisable to stay in shelters.

Earlier, Russia attacked Odesa with drones, leading to a large fire. This was reported by local Telegram channels.

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, reported that the city was subjected to drone attacks and explosions were heard.

It should be noted that on Monday, Russia also attacked Odesa with drones, leading to casualties. This was reported by the head of the Odesa OVA Oleg Kiper.

As a result of a series of explosions in the city, public infrastructure, residential buildings, educational institutions, and vehicles were damaged. Fires also broke out. Thanks to the swift actions of the services, the aftermath of the attack was managed.

In his address, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia struck Odesa using drones and attacked other regions of the country. He emphasized that this is a deliberate act of terror that could stop if Russia is ready for negotiations regarding a ceasefire.
