Russians use AI for disinformation in Ukraine – MFA.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Anton Demekhin reported that the Russian Federation is using artificial intelligence to enhance disinformation campaigns against Ukraine. He noted that this year cyber attacks from Russia have become more intense, but the main focus is not on cyber attacks, but on disinformation itself.
According to Demekhin, Russian artificial intelligence now allows the creation and dissemination of disinformation narratives at a more complex level. As a result, it is difficult to detect new disinformation campaigns, as they skillfully use social media to increase trust in them.
Demekhin emphasized that Ukraine is closely monitoring Russian disinformation campaigns in other countries around the world. He stated that states need to jointly counteract such disinformation. Ukraine is also using artificial intelligence to monitor these campaigns.
Fake State Border Service website and other fakers
Recently, a fake website was discovered that visually copied the official website of the State Border Service. It is worth noting that fakers are actively spreading disinformation that Ukrainian military received orders from the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU to break into the Kursk NPP and plant explosives there.
Ukrainian journalists also refuted information about the possible appointment of Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, as the next president of the country with the support of the CIA.
