Three asteroids are approaching Earth

On May 28, three asteroids are approaching Earth. These objects are potentially hazardous but pose no threat to our planet. This information is reported by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

According to NASA, these asteroids - 2025 KW (29.7 m), 2025 JR (79.5 m), and 2025 KU1 (20.2 m) - are about the size of multi-story buildings. Two more asteroids, 2025 KT1 and 2025 JP, passed by Earth on May 26 and 27 with diameters ranging from 12.8 m to 25.3 m, respectively.

Nasa states that 'potentially hazardous' asteroids are those that approach Earth within 4.6 million miles (7.4 million km). Even at high speed, they do not pose a real threat to our planet.

It is worth noting that recently science has been monitoring many asteroids approaching us and conducting systematic observations. Despite active efforts to detect such objects, NASA constantly emphasizes that the likelihood of Earth colliding with a dangerous asteroid in the coming centuries is very low.
