Solar panels have become maximally cheap in Europe.

Record low prices for solar modules
The European platform Search4Solar has registered record low prices for solar modules. Their current price is 0.055 euros per watt. The business development manager in Europe for Search4Solar, Lynn van Bellen, emphasized that this is a great opportunity for businesses and installers who want to invest in sustainable energy with lower costs. Van Bellen believes that this price drop is the result of suppliers' efforts to reduce inventories and competitive pricing. However, this may force manufacturers to lower prices even further to become competitive again. According to Lynn van Bellen, the next logical step might be to ship products back to China or sell them in Africa. Nevertheless, Search4Solar warns that prices can change quickly depending on supply and demand.
Disposal issues for solar panels in Australia
Moreover, solar energy in Australia has become an environmental issue. The disposal of solar panels in landfills is an exceptionally costly process. This has become a significant challenge for a country where solar energy is very popular.
