The greatest losses of the Russian Federation in the Kurakhiv direction
Intense fighting is taking place in the Kurakhiv direction, so the Russian Federation is suffering the greatest losses in this area. This was reported by military observer Denis Popovich on the air of the FREEДОМ TV channel.
I understand that where there is the largest number of clashes, that is, in the Kurakhiv section of the front. There, judging by the total number of losses, the Russian Federation should be suffering the greatest losses in manpower', - he said.
Denis Popovich commented on the explosion of the Kurakhiv reservoir dam by Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region. He noted that the Russians hoped that this would complicate the situation for Ukrainian troops.
It was expected that the Vovcha River, which flows to the west of this dam, would overflow and flood the roads. In particular, the main road that goes from Zaporizhzhia towards Kurakhove. Thus, it would complicate the logistics of our troops holding the defense in this direction. A rise in water level in this river has been recorded. However, how much this water currently hinders movement, how much the Russians' project and their expectations have materialized, is currently difficult to judge', - Popovich said.
The military observer noted that the enemy is trying to encircle the city of Kurakhove, attacking from the north, south, and east.
They are trying to encircle it. If they succeed, then the enemy will force us to retreat from there. And thus they will accomplish their tasks. A rather dangerous situation is just to the south of Kurakhove', - the military observer believes.
