Tactics of 'middle strike': how the Armed Forces of Ukraine break the enemy's military command

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully struck occupied territories, resulting in the elimination of an important Russian officer and damaging the enemy's military command system. This information was provided by the Ukrainian Armed Forces expert Andriy Tkachuk during the telemarathon 'Unified News'.

Strike on the enemy's command point

During the strike on the command point of the 8th Guards Army of the Russian Federation in the city of Donetsk, Colonel Ruslan Horyachkin, who commanded this army, was killed. The strike was carried out using Storm Shadow missiles.

'We managed to eliminate essentially a military top manager of the enemy army. The deceased was one of the key figures on this segment of the front, influencing the operational situation and ensuring the execution of operational tasks,' Tkachuk explained.

Tactics of 'middle strike'

The expert identified this strike as an example of an effective 'middle strike' - a strike aimed at breaking the command system of the occupying forces. This tactic is designed to disrupt enemy logistics and coordination systems.

'The key point in this story is that we ensure strikes at medium range. These are the so-called middle strikes, which I have repeatedly mentioned. This disrupts logistics and the command and coordination system of the troops,' Tkachuk noted.

Breaking enemy logistics

The expert emphasized the importance of striking specifically at the enemy's medium logistics - meaning targeting staff and centers of enemy military accumulation close to the front line. This tactic is successfully employed in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have demonstrated high effectiveness in conducting strikes on enemy command points, utilizing the 'middle strike' tactic. These strikes are aimed at breaking the command system of the occupying forces and disrupting enemy logistics. This indicates the successful implementation of defense strategies on the front and increases the readiness of the Ukrainian army for actions in the conflict zone.
