The Third Storm Brigade Inflicts Losses on Russians

Thanks to its advantage in technology and the training of personnel, the Third Storm Brigade inflicts significant losses on the Russians in Kharkiv region. The loss ratio sometimes reaches 1 to 12. This was stated by Andriy Biletsky, commander of the Third Army Corps, in an interview with 'Censor.net', to Y. Butusov.

In the direction of Lyman, the brigade holds the longest fortified line in the Armed Forces of Ukraine over 50 km, which is relentlessly attacked by Russian troops. In addition, it is used as a response group outside the area of responsibility.

«(The Brigade) operates at a high level. Our losses compared to the enemy are no longer 3-5 to 1. Sometimes they reach 10-12 to 1. Why? We have better infantry, better management... The main thing is that we operate at a different level of technologies. Our drone systems, intelligence, control, and combat systems are much better than the enemy's», - explained Biletsky.

A few weeks ago, the Russians attempted to attack from four sides and lost 149 soldiers. This is a record number of enemy losses in one day throughout the entire war.

Development and Training of the Brigade

In April 2025, the brigade set a new record for the number of drones shot down among all line brigades. It also leads in the number of destroyed targets by strike drones and artillery. Despite the lack of certain equipment, the brigade achieves impressive results.

According to Biletsky, attention is paid to the training of personnel and technological development. They study new technologies and tactics, develop their own methods, and combine all aspects to achieve success on the battlefield.
