A Building Caught Fire in the Center of Odesa During a Missile Strike.


In the evening of August 14th in Odesa, during a missile strike, a fire broke out in a three-story residential building on Sofiivska Street. This information was released by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service (SES) in Odesa region.
According to the SES, the fire caused panic among the population, as people initially thought that it was caused by the missile strike.
Comment by rescuers: there are currently no casualties or injured. Psychologists from the SES and the National Police are working with the residents.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire on an area of 150 square meters. The cause of the fire is currently being determined.
Let us remind you that in the evening of August 14th, Odesa was attacked by an enemy ballistic missile. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper. As a result of the attack, one person - a grain truck driver - was injured.
The injured person has now been hospitalized in a moderately severe condition. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the consequences of this crime committed by the Russians.
