A 33-year-old war veteran from Prykarpattya died in the hospital. Let us remember Dmytro Romaniuk.

Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Dmytro Romaniuk.
On December 11, 2024, war veteran Dmytro Romaniuk died in a hospital in Dnipro – a former serviceman of the 67th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's Territorial Defense. The news of the soldier's death was announced by the head of the Starobohorodchany community, Volodymyr Petryshyn.
Dmytro Romaniuk was born on August 3, 1991, in the village of Stari Bohorodchany in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
In 2015, he took a military oath, and in 2017, he joined the Right Sector as a volunteer. When Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, he did not hesitate to defend his homeland and joined his comrades in the Right Sector.
In 2022, he sustained his first wound near Avdiivka, and in 2023, he received a second wound and underwent treatment.
Dmytro actively participated in combat from the first days of the Russian aggression. His courage and dedication to defending Ukraine became an example for many.
In 2024, he was temporarily discharged due to health reasons. The defender of Ukraine passed away on December 11, 2024, in a rehabilitation clinic in Dnipro.
“Glavkom” joins in a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who have died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those who fell at the hands of the Russian occupiers, lighting candles in memory and bowing our heads in grief during the national minute of silence, honoring the bright memory of the citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died fighting against Russian occupants and as a result of the attack of hostile forces on Ukrainian towns and villages.
