The Ministry of Development named the funding volume for the program of transformation of coal regions.


Ukraine will allocate ₴30 billion for the Program of Transformation of Coal Regions. The Power4JustTransition program is planned for funding until 2030 and will cover 38 new communities, involving 2.2 million residents. German partners also support the idea of including communities from regions where coal-based thermal generation operates. An important aspect is the openness of the processes and the joint work of the authorities, communities, and businesses, avoiding sudden reforms.
