In Germany, police mistook the apartment and accidentally beat a university lecturer.

A special police unit SEK in the city of Bielefeld, Germany, mistakenly attacked a university lecturer when they entered his apartment using the wrong address. Instead of the wanted criminal, the police caused injuries to Amir Jahaniyan-Najafabadi and his wife Khadis Imani. A witness to the event said he heard an explosion and saw armed men in masks, realizing that he could die. He also added that the police broke down the door, threw him on the bed, which broke, and beat him several times, while threatening his wife with a gun. When the lecturer stated his name, the police realized their mistake. The victims were offered medical assistance, and after that, the police left the apartment. Amir Jahaniyan-Najafabadi was taken to the hospital. The police apologized for this incident.
It is reminded that a 24-hour strike began in Germany's largest airports due to the demands of the Ver.di union. Ground service and aviation security workers went on protest.
