Germany issues arrest warrant for Ukrainian in Nord Stream explosion case.


Ukrainian diving instructor, Volodymyr, who was in Poland, became a suspect in the 2022 bombing of the Nord Stream pipelines. Germany has issued a European arrest warrant for him.
According to German media, Volodymyr was one of the divers who planted explosives on the pipelines between Russia and Germany under the Baltic Sea. He is currently in hiding but claims he is hearing about the suspicion for the first Time and did not participate in the sabotage.
"Investigators from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and the federal police seem to have made a breakthrough in one of the most impressive cases in recent decades. While Sweden and Denmark have already ceased their investigation earlier this year, the federal prosecutor general continued the investigation on suspicion of 'deliberate causing of an explosion' and 'sabotage'."
Two other Ukrainian citizens, who are also divers, are also suspected, but no arrest warrants have been issued for them. Information about their involvement in the bombing is based on data obtained from foreign intelligence.
Ukrainian patriot divers have connections with various refugees from Ukraine and support Ukrainian military on social media. They also have great diving skills and a readiness to serve their country.
The Nord Stream pipeline bombing has become one of the most impressive cases in recent decades. The investigation is ongoing, and Germany is hoping for Poland's assistance in apprehending the suspect.
