In Vinnytsia, the woman guilty of desecrating the grave of the Azovstal defender has been found.

The police of Vinnytsia region have managed to find the woman who stole items from the grave of Nazar Gryncevych, the youngest fighter from the 'Azovstal' factory. According to information from the police of Vinnytsia region, this was reported by 'Glavkom'.

The police established that a 39-year-old resident of Vinnytsia is involved in the theft. Stolen items, including candles and a wooden club, were found in her house.

The woman claimed that she committed the theft while under the influence of alcohol and could not explain her actions.

An investigation is underway in accordance with Article 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Desecration of a grave, other burial place, or the body of a deceased person).

Currently, investigative actions are being conducted with the involved woman. Final decisions regarding the initiation of a criminal case will be made based on the results of the examination.

It should be noted that it was previously reported that a theft from the grave of Nazar Gryncevych occurred again at the 'Sabariv-1' cemetery in Vinnytsia. The mother of the fallen soldier, Marianna Gryncevych, reported that a wooden club, which she brought from Transcarpathia, along with three valuable candles, were stolen from the grave.

'Glavkom' had previously reported that Gryncevych's grave had already been robbed in June 2024 when his toy dog, received in childhood, disappeared from the grave.
