Tomorrow a new prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine will take place, mediated by the United Arab Emirates. This is reported by 'Glavkom' referring to Reuters, which quotes Sky News.

As part of the exchange, approximately 500 Russian and Ukrainian servicemen will be released, along with 46 wounded. This amounts to about 246 prisoners of war from each side.

It is worth noting that on March 19, 175 Ukrainian defenders were already released from Russian captivity, among which was Viktor Zinyak.

This Time, another 22 defenders will return home, who were released through other means rather than in exchange for prisoners. Among them are severely wounded soldiers and fighters whom Russia prosecuted for fabricated crimes. The president stated that all will immediately receive the necessary medical and psychological assistance.

It can also be mentioned that on April 8, Ukrainian soldiers in Donetsk captured two citizens of China who were serving in the Russian army. The president instructed the foreign minister to establish contact with Beijing and find out how China plans to respond to this incident.

It is known that the two citizens of China were held captive by the military of the 81st Separate Air Assault Slohobzhansk Brigade of Air Assault Forces and the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

It was reported that a Chinese prisoner of war who was on Russia's side stated that the Ukrainian captivity unexpectedly turned out to be better than service in the Russian armed forces.

It should also be noted that a Russian assault soldier, who was captured by Azov regiment fighters, spoke about his experience in the private military company 'Wagner' and his involvement in the armed march on Moscow led by Yevgeny Prigozhin.
