Ukraine and the USA Have Concluded an Agreement to Establish a Reconstruction Fund

Ukraine and the United States of America have completed all necessary procedures for the launch of the American-Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund. The Fund officially began its operations after receiving a diplomatic note from the American side.

This was reported by Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. According to her, the last step to activate the fund was the diplomatic note from the USA, which was conveyed today by the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States in Ukraine, Julie S. Davis.

'Now it can be officially considered that the Fund is launched,' Svyrydenko noted in her social media message.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the negotiating team that fulfilled the task set by President Volodymyr Zelensky. She emphasized that the newly created fund provides for equal partnership between the two countries while observing Ukraine's national interests.

Creation of an Investment Fund

A key feature of the structure is the joint management and investment with America. The fund's work is oriented towards future cooperation between the USA and Ukraine in the areas of recovery and development of the Ukrainian state.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the USA confirmed the completion of all procedures and announced the transition to the stage of creating a Ukrainian-American investment fund. Diplomats also noted that work is concurrently underway on additional defense opportunities.

The launch of the American-Ukrainian Reconstruction Fund is an important event for the Ukrainian economy and will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the future.
