Ukrainian footballer received Russian citizenship.

Ukrainian player Angelina Holik, who plays for Moscow's 'Dynamo', has received Russian citizenship. This information was announced on the club's official website. Holik was born in Dokuchaevsk, Donetsk region. At 20 years old, she began her football career with the 'Lokomotiv' Donetsk team and later moved to the women's team. Additionally, she played for 'Zhytlobud-1' U-16 from Kharkiv and the futsal club 'Bagira' from Lyman. From 2023 to 2024, she played for the youth women's team 'Lokomotiv' Moscow.
In our interview, Ukrainian skeleton leader Vladislav Geraskevich spoke about his proposal regarding changing citizenship. He also expressed his opinion on the change of citizenship for gymnast Illya Kovtun and his coach Irina Gorbatcheva, stating that they received significant financial support from the state budget. Geraskevich believes this is unacceptable, as in wartime conditions they are renouncing their homeland without fulfilling the state's requirements. He called this situation a disgraceful act, pointing out that many people support his opinion.
