Ukrainian fencers won gold at the European Championship. In the final confrontation, our girls defeated the team from Switzerland with a score of 45:34. The composition of the Ukrainian team: Vlada Kharkova, Olena Kryvitska, Inna Brovko, and Anna Maksymenko. In addition, Ukrainian athletes defeated the teams of Finland and Hungary.

Our fencers participated in competitions in sabre and other categories. Roman Svichkar and Alina Komashchuk also became European champions in their weight categories. Olha Kharlan did not participate in the competitions due to insufficient preparation but plans to improve her skills for a return to the sport in top shape.
