Working meeting at the Office of the President regarding the military medical commission for limited fit individuals
On Thursday, January 30, a working meeting was held at the Office of the President regarding the passage of the military medical commission by limited fit individuals, reported Deputy Head of the Office of the President Iryna Vereshchuk on Telegram.
During the meeting, the necessity of urgent legislative changes was discussed, in particular:
- re-passing the military medical commission is not mandatory for persons under 25 years old and for those who are duly recognized as persons with disabilities;
- the deadline is postponed from February 5 to June 5 - the corresponding draft law has been registered in the Parliament today under number 12457.
Moreover, the organization of processes was discussed to ensure that after the new deadlines are established, people can timely pass the military medical commission.
It was agreed that until the aforementioned law is passed, the Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support will not impose fines on those who do not manage to pass the military medical commission by February 5 and will not declare them wanted. The relevant directive will be sent appropriately.
'I strongly request the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Health and other relevant agencies to take special control over the process of informing people, forming electronic and paper directives, and communicating the relevant schedules to the military medical commission,' Vereshchuk emphasized.
Representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health, the Medical Forces Command, as well as the head of the relevant parliamentary committee Oleksandr Zavitnevych participated in the working meeting.
