Ukrenergo Plans to Replace Entire Supervisory Board by December 9 - Media.

The Supervisory Board of Ukrenergo Plans to Completely Renew Its Composition
The Supervisory Board of the State Enterprise 'Ukrenergo' plans to appoint new independent members and representatives of the state by December 9. This will mean a complete renewal of the board, which consists of 7 members.
According to RBC Ukraine, the nomination committee is conducting interviews with candidates for the position of independent board members. The decision on the new composition is planned to be made by the Ministry of Energy by December 9.
It is recalled that two independent board members resigned due to political motives related to the dismissal of the company's head. Therefore, the European Energy Community recommended appointing all new members by December 9 and revising the company's charter to strengthen the independence of the board.
However, if these conditions are not met, the company will have to undergo a re-certification as a transmission system operator. This condition was included by the IMF in the memorandum of cooperation.
